A menos de dos horas de New York nos encontramos con una ciudad llena de historia, cultura, y mucho verde para disfrutar.
New York es el destino más visitado por los turistas de todo el mundo y a la hora de explorar otras ciudades cercanas Philadelphia es ideal, un paso obligatorio por muchas razones.
Como la mayor ciudad del estado de Pensilvania, es un gran centro histórico, cultural y artístico en los Estados Unidos.

En el paseo uno respira un aire distinto, muchos espacios verdes, menos gente que en otras ciudades; ya cuenta con una población de un millón y medio de habitantes a diferencia de New York que tiene ocho millones.
En sus inicios, Filadelfia fue mucho más importante que Washington, Boston o Nueva York. Desde el inicio de la Guerra de la Independencia hasta 1790 (año en que se fundó la ciudad de Washington), fue la capital de la nueva Nación.
La Declaración de Independencia fue firmada en el Independence Hall (Salón de la Independencia), que junto con la Campana de la Libertad (Liberty Bell) son las atracciones más famosas de la ciudad.
Ineludible será conocer el Museo de Arte, y hacer lo mismo que hace Silvester Stallone, en la película, Rocky: subir corriendo las escaleras y festejar haber llegado. Ubicado en una zona privilegiada -Old City- donde además hay decenas de restaurantes que tientan a la hora de elegir qué comer. Tiendas de diseño y lugares de antigüedades que logran maravillarte.
La habitación Louisa May Alcott, ubicada en la parte superior del edificio en el cuarto piso. Es una «suite penthouse», cuenta con un dormitorio privado con una cama tamaño queen, así como una gran cama tamaño king ubicada en el área de estar principal donde la abundancia luz natural y las hermosas vistas de 3rd Street desde sus históricas ventanas complementan un cuadro perfecto.
La sala de estar principal alberga un sofá de cuero vintage, televisión, cocina completa, isla con capacidad para dos y mesa de comedor con capacidad para cuatro.
